Geraldton Wax Erez
Geraldton Wax Erez produces abundant mid-pink flowers with consistent stem quality and reliable vase performance. With strong grading and durable shipping resilience, it is a versatile filler for supermarket floral lines, bulk bouquet programmes, and seasonal promotions.
Geraldton Wax Erez (Chamelaucium uncinatum) is a vibrant waxflower variety known for its dense sprays of mid-pink flowers, often accented with slightly deeper tones at the centre. Cultivated in South Africa through OZ Flora’s supplier farms, though native to Western Australia, Erez offers a strong colour impact and reliable uniformity. Its branching habit and floral volume make it a valuable filler across supermarket floral programmes, straight-line bunches, mass-market bouquets, and seasonal retail promotions.
Quality & Handling
- Cut and graded to export standard under strict cold-chain management; stems are selected for length, straightness, and branching uniformity with clean foliage and vibrant flower colour
- Expected vase life of 7–10 days under standard conditions; with optimal hydration and hygiene may last up to 12–14 days
- Re-cut stems by 2–3 cm at an angle and place immediately into clean, sanitised buckets of fresh water with a hydration solution or floral preservative to assist uptake; woody stems can be slow to rehydrate if untreated
- Allow at least 4–6 hours of conditioning before onward distribution or use
- Moderately ethylene sensitive — exposure may trigger petal shatter and leaf drop, so ethylene protection is advised during shipping and storage
- Lead times and freight rates vary by destination.
- All products are subject to seasonal availability, please contact us for current availability, pricing and export options.
- Bulk pricing available for large-volume orders; minimum order quantities apply.
- Dedicated export solutions with competitive freight arrangements.
