Geraldton Wax Sarah’s Delight
Geraldton Wax Sarah’s Delight produces delicate pink flowers opening from bronze buds, giving stems a warm, two-tone look. With consistent grading, sturdy stems, and excellent freight reliability, it is an adaptable filler for supermarket floral lines, bouquet programmes, and seasonal assortments.
Geraldton Wax Sarah’s Delight (Chamelaucium uncinatum) is a well-regarded waxflower cultivar, displaying light pink petals with deeper tones at the centre and copper-bronze buds that add visual depth. While native to Western Australia, it is cultivated in South Africa through OZ Flora’s supplier farms for export into global markets. Its versatile colouring makes it suitable for supermarket floral programmes, mass-market bouquets, straight-line bunches, and seasonal promotions, with particular appeal in spring and Valentine’s ranges.
Quality & Handling
- Cut and graded to export standard under strict cold-chain management; stems are selected for length, straightness, and branching uniformity, with clean foliage and vibrant flower colour
- Expected vase life is typically 7–10 days under standard conditions; with optimal hydration and hygiene, may last up to 12–14 days
- Re-cut stems by 2–3 cm at an angle and place immediately into clean, sanitised buckets of fresh water with a hydration solution or floral preservative to assist uptake; woody stems can be slow to rehydrate if untreated
- Allow at least 4–6 hours of conditioning before onward distribution or use
- Moderately ethylene sensitive — exposure may trigger petal shatter and leaf drop, so ethylene protection is advised during shipping and storage
- Lead times and freight rates vary by destination.
- All products are subject to seasonal availability, please contact us for current availability, pricing and export options.
- Bulk pricing available for large-volume orders; minimum order quantities apply.
