Leucadendron Carlin
Leucadendron Carlin offers compact, silvery-green cones with a textured finish and neat foliage, ideal for mass-market retail floral lines and wholesale bouquets. Known for its strong stems, consistent grading and reliable vase life, it ships well under cold-chain conditions.
Leucadendron carlin is recognised for its distinctive round, pale green to silvery cones, framed by tidy narrow foliage. The subtle colouring and uniform form make it highly versatile for large-scale bouquets, mass-market retail floral programmes, and seasonal ranges, as well as straight-line bunches for wholesale. This South African species is cultivated by supplier farms in the Western Cape and produced to export standards.
Quality & Handling
- All stems are cut at the correct maturity with consistent lengths, tight grading, and clean foliage. Bracts and cones are checked for uniform colour and integrity.
- Field heat is removed immediately after harvest through cold-shock, and product is maintained under an unbroken cold-chain from farm to freight.
- Vase life is typically 12–18 days, extended to 21 days when handled optimally; re-cut stems by 2–3 cm at a sharp angle, remove any foliage below the waterline, and place in clean buckets with fresh water or preservative solution.
- Hydrate for at least 4–6 hours before onward distribution or display.
- Not strongly ethylene-sensitive, but chronic exposure shortens vase life and reduces market quality.
- Lead times and freight rates vary by destination.
- All products are subject to seasonal availability, please contact us for current availability, pricing and export options.
- Bulk pricing available for large-volume orders; minimum order quantities apply.
- Dedicated export solutions with competitive freight arrangements.
