Leucadendron Inca Gold
Leucadendron Inca Gold displays bold green bracts tipped with golden-yellow and subtle red edges, providing depth and seasonal colour variation. With durable stems, uniform grading and good vase life, it is well-suited to bouquet mixes and bulk export supply.
Leucadendron Inca Gold (Leucadendron salignum x Leucadendron laureolum) is a hybrid cultivar recognised for its vivid green bracts that transition to golden-yellow tones, often edged with a soft red blush. This layered colouring adds warmth and dimension to bouquet production and retail floral lines. Primary colourway: green with gold and red highlights. Inca Gold is widely used in large-scale bouquets, mass-market floral programmes, seasonal promotions, and straight-line bunches. Cultivated by South African supplier farms in the Western Cape, it is produced to export standards.
Quality & Handling
- All stems are cut at the correct maturity with consistent lengths, tight grading, and clean foliage. Bracts and cones are checked for uniform colour and integrity.
- Field heat is removed immediately after harvest through cold-shock, and product is maintained under an unbroken cold-chain from farm to freight.
- Vase life is typically 12–18 days, extended to 21 days when handled optimally; re-cut stems by 2–3 cm at a sharp angle, remove any foliage below the waterline, and place in clean buckets with fresh water or preservative solution.
- Hydrate for at least 4–6 hours before onward distribution or display.
- Not strongly ethylene-sensitive, but chronic exposure shortens vase life and reduces market quality.
- Lead times and freight rates vary by destination.
- All products are subject to seasonal availability, please contact us for current availability, pricing and export options.
- Bulk pricing available for large-volume orders; minimum order quantities apply.
- Dedicated export solutions with competitive freight arrangements.
