Protea Esmee
Protea Esme features artfully cupped, pale-green bracted cones with russet-red tufted rims and sturdy stems—ideal for straight-line bunches, mass-market retail floral lines and winter–spring seasonal promotions.
Protea Esme (Protea neriifolia × Protea longifolia) is a refined South African hybrid cultivated under stringent standards in the Western Cape. Its medium flower heads display softly pointed, lime-green outer bracts tipped with rich russet-red tufts, framed by narrow, glossy foliage. Esme brings distinctive texture, subtle two-tone colour and reliable form to high-volume bouquets and large-scale retail displays as winter transitions to spring.
