Protea Niobe
Protea Niobe presents elegant, pale-green bracted cones topped with velvety, near-black crowns and robust stems—ideal for straight-line bunches, mass-market retail floral lines, and summer to mid-winter seasonal promotions.
Protea Niobe (Protea laurifolia × Protea magnifica) is a distinctive South African hybrid cultivated under exacting standards in the Western Cape. Its medium-sized flower heads feature soft lime-green outer bracts edged in deep near-black down, framing a dense, velvety cap of the same hue. Narrow, silvery-green foliage adds fine architectural texture. Niobe brings refined colour contrast and sculptural form to high-volume bouquets and large-scale retail displays across the mid-summer to mid-winter season.
