Geraldton Wax Raspberry Ripple
Geraldton Wax Raspberry Ripple features soft pink petals with deeper raspberry-toned centres, offering attractive contrast and texture. With strong stems, consistent grading, and excellent shipping reliability, it is well-suited for supermarket floral programmes, bouquet lines, and seasonal assortments.
Geraldton Wax Raspberry Ripple (Chamelaucium uncinatum) is a distinctive waxflower cultivar named for its gentle pink petals accented by darker raspberry-coloured centres. Originally native to Western Australia but cultivated in South Africa through OZ Flora’s supplier farms, this variety is prized for its unique bicolour effect and versatile use across retail programmes. Raspberry Ripple works well in supermarket floral lines, mass-market bouquets, straight-line bunches, and seasonal promotions where subtle yet eye-catching filler is required. Its balanced tones also make it suitable for wedding collections and spring promotions.
Quality & Handling
- Cut and graded to export standard under strict cold-chain management; stems are selected for length, straightness, and branching uniformity, with clean foliage and vibrant flower colour
- Expected vase life is typically 7–10 days under standard conditions; with optimal hydration and hygiene, may last up to 12–14 days
- Re-cut stems by 2–3 cm at an angle and place immediately into clean, sanitised buckets of fresh water with a hydration solution or floral preservative to assist uptake; woody stems can be slow to rehydrate if untreated
- Allow at least 4–6 hours of conditioning before onward distribution or use
- Moderately ethylene sensitive — exposure may trigger petal shatter and leaf drop, so ethylene protection is advised during shipping and storage
- Lead times and freight rates vary by destination.
- All products are subject to seasonal availability, please contact us for current availability, pricing and export options.
- Bulk pricing available for large-volume orders; minimum order quantities apply.
