Leucadendron Jubilee Crown
Leucadendron Jubilee Crown offers rounded, textured cones that shift from pale green to rosy-pink tones, paired with fine needle-like foliage. With its neat form, consistent grading and reliable vase performance, it is a versatile filler for bouquet production and wholesale floral programmes.
Leucadendron laxum, known commercially as Leucadendron Jubilee Crown, is prized for its dense sprays of compact cones. The cones begin in soft green and develop blush-pink to rose-red colouring at maturity, while the slender needle-like foliage provides texture and volume. Jubilee Crown is widely used as a filler in mass-market bouquets, seasonal promotions, retail floral programmes, and straight-line wholesale bunches. This South African species is cultivated by supplier farms in the Western Cape and produced to export standards.
Quality & Handling
- All stems are cut at the correct maturity with consistent lengths, tight grading, and clean foliage. Bracts and cones are checked for uniform colour and integrity.
- Field heat is removed immediately after harvest through cold-shock, and product is maintained under an unbroken cold-chain from farm to freight.
- Vase life is typically between 12–18 days, extended to 21 days when handled optimally; re-cut stems by 2–3 cm at a sharp angle, remove any foliage below the waterline, and place in clean buckets with fresh water or preservative solution.
- Hydrate for at least 4–6 hours before onward distribution or display.
- Not strongly ethylene-sensitive, but chronic exposure shortens vase life and reduces market quality.
- Lead times and freight rates vary by destination.
- All products are subject to seasonal availability, please contact us for current availability, pricing and export options.
- Bulk pricing available for large-volume orders; minimum order quantities apply.
- Dedicated export solutions with competitive freight arrangements.
