Leucadendron Rosette
Leucadendron Rosette presents rounded green bracts encasing deep red-brown cones, offering a layered, rosette-like effect. With strong stems, uniform grading and dependable vase life, it performs well in mass-market bouquets and wholesale export.
Leucadendron Rosette (Leucadendron laureolum x Leucadendron elimense) is characterised by tight green bracts that surround its central cone in a layered rosette form. The cones mature in tones of reddish-brown, creating a striking contrast against the foliage. This variety is highly versatile, suited to mass-market bouquets, straight-line bunches, and wholesale floral programmes where texture and cone definition are valued. Cultivated by supplier farms in the Western Cape of South Africa, Rosette is produced under export-ready standards for consistent international supply.
Quality & Handling
- All stems are cut at the correct maturity with consistent lengths, tight grading, and clean foliage. Bracts and cones are checked for uniform colour and integrity.
- Field heat is removed immediately after harvest through cold-shock, and product is maintained under an unbroken cold chain from farm to freight.
- Vase life is typically 12–18 days, extended to 21 days when handled optimally. Re-cut stems by 2–3 cm at a sharp angle, remove any foliage below the waterline, and place in clean buckets with fresh water or preservative solution.
- Hydrate for at least 4–6 hours before onward distribution or display.
- Not strongly ethylene-sensitive, but chronic exposure shortens vase life and reduces market quality.
- Lead times and freight rates vary by destination.
- All products are subject to seasonal availability, please contact us for current availability, pricing and export options.
- Bulk pricing available for large-volume orders; minimum order quantities apply.
- Dedicated export solutions with competitive freight arrangements.
